Get With The Times (Pilot Concept)

A family of scientists is selected to travel back in time and gather data about early humans. They must integrate with a cave community and conceal the secret of their futuristic origins. 

GET WITH THE TIMES is your typical family sitcom, except the shenanigans that this family gets into has wider implications for the greater good of humanity. After the Davis family learns their contemporary life is being uprooted by a covert science project, they are starting over not only in a new town, but in a new time. Operation Leopard Gecko, launched by lead scientist Tanya Grumm, aims to capture as much data as possible by having the Fatone family integrate fully with the Tapi village in 17,541 BCE. Although most of their expectations are subverted, ultimately the Fatones have a lot in common with the Tapis. We learn how their presence in the village has wider scientific consequences that begin to unfold before Tanya’s eyes.
